Problem
A place where users and managers can create, execute and manage sequences in order to improve their workflow and be more productive with the platform.
Process
Discovery - During this phase, I worked closely with my Product Manager Rachel who scoped out the project, we looked at competitors and wrote some users stories to establish the requirements of the project. Exploration - Really enjoyed this phase, Rachel created some user flows and sketched wireframes to assist. Also used balsamic to mock up some wireframes in order to get a better idea of how the final tool will function. Design - After multiple planning sessions I was ready to tackle the high def designs in Adobe XD, beginning with a style guide dedicated to the tool helped with use and reuse components
Outcome
Currently, in development this tool has been a mammoth task for the development team. KPI’s to come!
Learnings
Having a solid plan in place with how a new product or tool integrates with the rest of the existing platform is very important. Making the most of tooltips helps the user navigate a UI easily.
